Keep in mind that individuals with a healthy immune system usually spontaneously resolve (clear) in 1 to-2 years, while immune-compromised persons may take much longer and have more severe cases.
Alternative treatments include:
Curettage- Scraping off the lesion and inner waxy head. This procedure may be performed with or without an anesthetic. With children and infants, it may include harnessing to reduce struggling. Scar damage is likely to result of this alternative.
Cryosurgery- Freezing the lesion, surrounding tissue and inner viral-bed with liquid nitrogen. Scar damage is likely to result of this alternative.
Cantharidin- A cautious application of a blistering agent used to traumatize and kill the virus while affecting surrounding tissue. Scar damage is likely to result of this alternative.
Imiquimod- (Aldara)- an immune-modulating drug.
Tretinoin – (Retin-A) an acne treatment that has virtually no efficacy for molluscum patients.
Salicylic Acid- (Compound W) applied to pustules – no other available data
Laser- Destruction of the viral-bed and surrounding tissue with laser. Scarring may occur.
Tea Tree Oil- alleged to be effective for about 18% of users. No substantiated data available.
Colloidal Silver- no clinical data available
Duct Tape- no available data. Not sterile and may cause additional secondary infections.
Apple Cider Vinegar- no clinical data available.
Beatle Juice- no available data. We have received reports explaining how it caused the spread of the virus.
Curealls- Other products offered through the internet claiming miraculous results.
Scratched or mistreated Molluscum Contagiosum (MCV) lesions might develop secondary infections, requiring to be treated with topical antibiotics and extending the healing period.
Conzerol heals Molluscum Contagiosum (MCV) lesions and reduces further spreading. With Conzerol an infected person, child or adult, can be back to normal fast, instead of months with traditional invasive and painful alternatives.

Hello. I have a 7 year old girl who has contracted this same diagnosis do MCV. We were told that she possibly picked up this from school and mostly from toilet seats where the kids aren’t cleaning seat before sitting on them. So we were diagnosed at pediatricians office and then referred to dermatologist. It was there that we were told that this could take up to a year or longer before we would be rid of this. It started out as well as possible in a case of this, but she just went to dermat on the 12th of this month and actually was seen by a diff dermat because ours had called in sick fir the day and her dad noticed that this was the first time that the medicine was applied so heavily and strongly. I should say that the medicine that is used at the office is in a brown container and is applied with wooden sticks like the end of a large wooden q tip like seen at MD office. It’s been ok until this last time where we were told to burst the fluid filled areas. I felt so bad because I second guessed myself by knowing that we hadn’t done this before, but informed to this time and a couple of days later this areas looked like they were infected, draining, and we’re messing her clothes up hike at school. Just took her back in to dermat 9/23 and sure enough they were infected and had started scabbing up with drainage as well. She’s on an antibiotic for 10 days twice a day. So needless to say and ask do you think that it’s a good idea for us to try Conzerol at this point and do u think that it’ll work since she’s had it for about 5 months now. I really hurts my heart to see her skin this way and I want her to start feeling like she’s got to be isolated because she doesn’t want anyone else to come in contact with MCV? Pleases give us your most honest and best opinion for our situation. Thanks so much. Cater family
